Directions for use
1 litre Sambar : Cook 125g. Red gram dhal in 300g water with a pinch of turmeric and 3g. oil. Add 500g cooked mixed vegetables, pre-soaked 25g tamarind pulp and salt. Add 450g water and cook for 10 minutes. Add 20g Priya Sambar Powder and continue boiling for 5 minutes. Add 10g grated coconut for flavour.
Seasoning: Heat 25g oil and add 2g each of mustard seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves, 4g each of Black gram dhal and Bengal gram dhal and fry. Pour sambar mix in it. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot.
